This course aims to teach how to treat adults suffering from emotional or psychological wounds due to negative childhood experiences. It focuses on understanding childhood wounds and their impact, restructuring cognitive schemas, developing emotional and organizational skills, and creating healthy coping strategies. Key topics include analyzing the effects of negative cognitive schemas and replacing them with positive and healthy ones, enhancing self-esteem and building a positive self-image, learning strategies for managing and regulating emotions healthily, and acquiring healthy coping strategies like effective communication, stress management, and problem-solving.
